Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account data: your name, email address and password (stored as a secure hash), plus your business profile (business name, average job value, preferences).

Customer conversation data: when your callers interact with your CallEmBack number, we process their phone number, call metadata (time, duration, forwarding number), the audio of the call answered by our AI assistant, and the resulting transcript and job summary. This processing is automated (an AI assistant conducts the conversation) and happens on your behalf so you can serve your customers. We never access your personal phone, your personal messages, or calls you answered yourself.

Waitlist and usage data: the email you submit to our early-access list, and basic product analytics (pages visited, features used) to improve the service.

2. How we use data

To provide the service (answering your missed calls, producing call transcripts and job reports, showing them in your dashboard and emailing them to you), to secure and improve the product, to bill subscriptions, and to send you service emails. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your customers' conversations for advertising.

3. Calls and messaging privacy

Calls to your CallEmBack number are answered by an automated AI assistant and are processed to produce a transcript and job summary for you. No caller information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. If text messaging is used, opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties; recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP and get help by replying HELP, and message and data rates may apply according to their carrier plan.

4. Who we share data with

Only with service providers that make CallEmBack work, under contracts that limit their use of the data: cloud hosting and database providers, telecommunications carriers that transmit calls and messages, payment processing (our payment provider handles card data; we never see full card numbers), and privacy-respecting product analytics. We may disclose data if required by law.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your account data and your customer conversation data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, billing or security reasons. To request deletion or a copy of your data, email support@callemback.com.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, access to production systems is restricted, and webhook endpoints verify cryptographic signatures. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your customer relationships as the asset your business runs on.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and state privacy laws such as the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email support@callemback.com and we will honor valid requests.

8. Children

CallEmBack is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
